This program is exclusively for Irish secondary school students in their Transition Year.
Dive Academy, Lahinch, is pleased to offer an Introduction to Scuba Diving course for Transition Year students in the 2019/2020 academic year.
The course is available in one of two formats (concise or extended) and will provide an introduction to, and a chance to experience, scuba diving for all TY students. Following on from this course, the student has the option to pursue a formal qualification in Scuba diving (PADI Open Water Diver) at a reduced price.

In addition to learning to Scuba Dive, students will benefit by:

The course can be offered as a concise or an extended course:
Both courses can be accommodated with a minimum of 4 students at Dive Academy on weekday afternoons during the academic year.
Any student who chooses to progress to a full PADI Open Water Diver course will benefit from a fee reduction equivalent to the amount already paid for the introduction class(es). Dive Academy runs the PADI Open Water Diver course once a month at weekends.
