The beginning of your one-breath adventure!

Try freediving your first step to becoming a freediver! Whether you have little or no experience in the ocean, this introductory day will help you explore the underwater world and discover your potential on just one breath. If you want to see what you're capable of, improve your snorkelling skills for your next holiday, or simply try out a new hobby, this experience is for you!

  • What's Included

    Professional Freediving Instructor Guidance: Enjoy personalized instruction with a low 1:3 instructor-to-student ratio, ensuring close guidance and support throughout your freediving experience.


    Full Diving Gear: All necessary equipment is provided, including wetsuits, masks, snorkels, fins, and weights, so you’re fully prepared for your dive.

  • Itinerary

    5 hours (10:00 - 15:00)

     

    Check-in @ 10:00 – Meet your instructor and fellow freedivers


    Theory Session – Freediving basics, equipment, equalization, and breathing techniques


    Boat Departure @ 12:30 – Open water session: fun dive, skills, and practice


    Boat Returns @ 14:30 – Debrief and wrap-up

  • What To Bring

    Personal Swimwear and Towel: Wear swimwear under your clothes for convenience, and bring a towel for drying off after your dive.


    Drinking Water: Staying hydrated is key, so bring a water bottle to keep yourself refreshed.


    Warm Clothes (in Cooler Months): Pack comfortable, warmer clothing for stretching and breathing exercises before and after the dive, especially if the weather is cool.

    After your Try Freediving day, you're already halfway to becoming a Level 1 Freediver!


    If you were captivated by the sport and want to continue, join us for Day Two to complete your certification. You're already halfway there, as this session runs alongside Day One of the Freediver course Level 1.


    Please note: If you can't continue the course the next day, no worries! You can return anytime within the season to join Day Two and complete your certification at a time that suits you.

  • Can I go straight to Lv.1 as a beginner?

    Yes! Level 1 is perfect for beginners. We cover the basics of freediving and gradually work towards greater depth, skills, and techniques throughout the course.

  • Can I rent freediving gear?

    Yes, you can (full price includes gear rental as well).

  • Can I eat some food or drink coffee before free diving?

    Yes, you can eat beforehand, but it’s best to keep your stomach light to help conserve oxygen while diving. Opt for something small and easy to digest, like fruit or granola with yogurt.


    As for drinks, avoid coffee, tea, or high-sugar beverages, as they can increase your heart rate, which is counterproductive for freediving.

  • Why should I free dive?

    Freediving helps to relax, reduces stress and anxiety, it's stretches your body, and lungs, boosts confidence, and energy, and trains discipline.

  • Can I dive if I have a cold ?

    It depends on the severity. If your cold is mild, you may still be able to dive. However, if you have a heavy cold or a very runny nose, it’s best to wait until you’re feeling better.

  • Will the water be cold?

    Yes, the water is cold, however, you will have the appropriate gear to keep you warm.

  • How big is a group?

    The group during this program is a max of 3 students.   

  • How is the water visibility?

    From 5m / 17ft  to infinity...
