Snorkelling requires no certification and is great for all ages, children, parents and even grandparents!

This is an absolute dream of snorkelling from the boat in the beautiful place of Killeany Bay under the watchful eye of a seal colony nearby. Exploring kelp forest, seagrass meadow & drifting around in this extraordinary underwater world.

  • Itinerary

    Check-in: 11:30 or 14:30 at the Dive Academy (depending on your booked time slot).


    Meet the team, get suited up, and attend a short safety briefing to prepare for your snorkelling adventure.


    Snorkelling Experience: Enjoy approximately 45 min. on the water exploring the marine wonders of Killeany Bay, with sights of kelp forests, seagrass meadows, and perhaps even a glimpse of the resident seal colony!


    Return: The boat will return to the Dive Academy pier around 1.5 hours after departure, ending your tour back at the starting point.

    To ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience, please pack the following items.


    Swimwear and Towel: Essential for your water sessions.


    Warm Clothing: Particularly important during cooler months, to keep you cozy after dive.

  • Should I know how to swim?

    No, swimming skills are not required! If you can’t swim, there’s no need to worry-you’ll be floating comfortably on the surface throughout the experience. Our instructors will be there to guide you, ensuring you feel safe and secure in the water.

  • Will I see the seals?

    Yes, this is possible...The grey seals are very curious and might come to say hello if they want.

  • How deep will it be in the water?

    The snorkeling area will range from about 1 to 5 meters in depth.

  • Can I take photos?

    Yes, feel free to bring your own camera to capture the experience!

  • How big is a group?

    Max 6 snorkelers + 1 our guide (7 in total).

  • How long will it take to get there ?

    It takes around 5 to 10 min. on a power boat (RIB).

  • Can I take a non-snorkeler on the boat ride?

    Yes, a non-snorkeler can join the boat ride, but this depends on availability and conditions. The final decision will be made just before departure.

  • What else can I see underwater?

    Besides the curious grey seals, you’ll have a chance to see a variety of marine life, including vibrant fish, colorful seaweeds, and unique rock formations.

  • Can I scuba dive after this adventure
