  • Itinerary

    Check-in: 08:00 or 11:30 at the Dive Academy (depending on your booked time slot).


    Snorkelling Tour: Begin with a fun snorkelling tour, where you'll get comfortable in the water and enjoy the coastal marine life. This part of the program is all about having fun and getting relaxed!


    Scuba Diving Experience: Directly after snorkelling, you’ll embark on a 45-minute scuba diving session, exploring the beautiful waters of the Atlantic. Dive alongside fish, unique rock formations, and, if you’re lucky, a few seals!

  • Should I know how to swim?

    No, If you can't swim there is no problem however, to fully enjoy the Discover Scuba program you should feel comfortable enough in the water in general.

  • How deep will I go diving?

    You'll start at 1 meter and can go up to a maximum of 12 meters.

  • How big is a group?

    Max 2 students per 1 Instructor.

  • Can I take photos?

    Yes, you can take surface (not underwater) photos.

  • Is the water cold?

    Yes, the water can be cold during cooler months, but the super-suit (wetsuit), boots, and gloves will keep you comfortable.

  • Can a qualified diver join Discover Scuba?

    Yes, only if it is a friend or relavite and they are happy to have a very easy dive.

  • How can I get certified?

    After completing this program you can sign up for an Open Open Water Diver course.

Open Water Diver

Once you have completed the Open Water Diver course, you effectively have a license for life to dive at any dive centre in the world.

Advanced Diver

By earning the Advanced certification your new maximum depth will be 30m. This increased depth rating allows us to take you to some of the best dive sites.

Stress & Rescue

This course expands on what you already know about how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur.
